Bus-T is operated by Pathy Technology Limited. This policy describes how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our bus booking app and related services.
1. Information we collect
We collect your name, email, phone number, and payment details (via secure processors) to create your account and process bookings. With your permission, we use location data only to show nearby stops and routes; we do not store it after your session. We also collect device and usage data (e.g. app version, IP) for security and to improve the service.
2. How we use it
We use your information to manage your account, process ticket bookings and refunds, show schedules and real-time bus information, send trip updates, and improve our app. We do not sell your data.
3. Sharing
We may share your information only with: (a) bus operators and partners who need it to fulfill your trip, (b) payment and support providers under strict agreements, and (c) authorities when required by law.
4. Security and retention
We store data securely and keep it only as long as needed for the service or as required by law. You can request access, correction, or deletion of your data by contacting us.
5. Your rights
You may request a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, or withdraw consent for optional uses (e.g. marketing). Contact us at support@bus-t.site to exercise these rights.
Terms of Service
By using Bus-T, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
1. Our service
Bus-T is a booking platform. We connect you with bus operators and process payments. We do not operate buses. Schedules, fares, and service quality are the responsibility of the operators.
2. Your account
You must create an account to book tickets. You are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for all activity on your account. We may suspend or close accounts that breach these terms or are used for fraud.
3. Bookings and payment
Bookings are valid only when confirmed and paid. Prices depend on route, operator, and time. You will receive an electronic ticket after payment. Please check all details before confirming; we are not liable for errors you make.
4. Refunds
When you can get a refund: Full refund if the bus operator cancels the trip. You may request a refund if you cancel before departure, subject to the operator’s policy and any fees they apply.
When we do not refund: No refund if you miss the bus without cancelling in advance, or if you cancel after departure time.
How refunds are paid: To your Bus-T wallet (for future bookings) or to your original payment method, depending on what you choose. Refunds are usually processed within 24–48 hours.
5. Acceptable use
You must use the app only for lawful travel booking. You may not provide false information, resell tickets for profit, or misuse the platform. Breach may lead to account termination and legal action.
6. Limitation of liability
Bus-T is a booking intermediary. We are not liable for delays, cancellations, accidents, or loss caused by bus operators or third parties. Our liability is limited to the amount you paid for the affected ticket.
7. Changes and governing law
We may update these terms and our privacy policy. Continued use of the app means you accept the updated version. These terms are governed by the laws of Nigeria. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of the F.C.T., Abuja.
